The Heart + Hustle team's very own Darrell Chan attended this year's Century 21 Canada Annual Conference. It took place in Victoria, B.C. from September 18th to the 20th. The beautiful city had so much to offer from its Pacific culture to the amazing people. One example of the kind people spread throughout the city is the very generous people who work at an adorable seafood eatery called Red Fish Blue Fish. The owners, from Vancouver, B.C., moved to Victoria to operate a seafood shack right out of a remodelled cargo container. They have a large menu with so many different delicious options, but when Darrell visited, he went classic. That’s right, he got a standard fish and chips. Of course, it was amazing. Unfortunately, just a few steps away from the shack, Darrell’s beautiful fish and chips fell from his hand and down through the space between the wood of the dock. He could see the delicious meal through the boards; a devastating sight. The staff at Red Fish Blue Fish saved the day. They brought Darrell another delightful fish and chips, free of charge! Their generosity will never be forgotten, and neither will the delicious taste of their fresh fried fish and chips. Victoria is very popular for outdoor activities and Darrell was lucky enough to experience this first-hand when he rode scooters during his trip. Century 21 also had plenty of fun events planned including their 50 Shades of Gold Party. This party was an excellent opportunity to network with agents across Canada while wearing on-theme black and gold. Darrell had a show-stopping outfit of light-up gold shoes and a gold half-mask which had many people in awe. This was the fourth Century 21 Canada Annual Conference Darrell had attended, and he finds that the more you go to the more you find people with like-minded ideas and goals. |
